![]() Trust me, when you try this challenge yourself, you'll understand the frustration of not being able to set your car up correctly. We have mechanics giving us wrong recommendations, drivers that can't give us real feedback, not enough time to gain setup knowledge or race/tyre preps and to top it all off if the radio says the handling is spot on, you'll get a 'good' smiley face and have to take a 50-50 guess which way to adjust that setting. For those of us playing through the career mode properly, starting at the bottom and working our way up, it really isn't that easy. While I appreciate that everything must seem rather easy if you've jumped straight into the best series, with the best drivers, best cars and best staff. You'll also only get a level 1 race prep and level 1 tyre prep if you use both drivers on 1 tyre type. Using the Predator team, your main driver will only just hit a medium setup knowledge, you second driver doesn't get half way through the low setup knowledge before practice is over. ![]() You'll not see the results of the 2nd until race day though. You'll start in the European series, which has an extremely short practice period. If you click 'challenge' from the main menu, then choose the Predator Racing Group challenge, you'll start the game with the weakest team in the entire game and have to get them to win with world championship. This only works if you've jumped straight to the World Championship Series. You should do a race stint with both drivers with the tire you like most, i usually take the softest tire and do 8 laps with both drivers, this will give me lvl 3 trait in race speed and soft tire speed(15% better race speed and 15% race speed with the tire you did the 8 laps with.) Originally posted by goldknight:Can someone explain the sense of practices if they are They MUST increase the practice time and remove the feedback from drivers without any real lap, in that way u have the same result, but atleast making some real lap and time in practice, which should be the real meaning of PRACTICE. Man, again, 12/20 minutes are senseless, u can go out only 2 times max and GG, other u have to use the go out/in from pit without even lap to get infos, and even like that u get 4-5 tries. I really want to see hamilton or rosberg asking for a setup which make them slower, come on :) Apart, GPM/GPW/F1MP didn't teach anything at all? ![]() Intended or not, it is senseless, in which world a driver goes in a lap with car turning fast as hell and says "hey, my car is a crap, let's change it so i can't make even a decent lap in my entire career". You only have that little practice time at the beginning of tier 3, you can vote to change the rule or get into the higher tiers to get longer practice sessionsĪlso if the practice sessions are too long its going to be obnoxious and at the same time way too easy to get the perfect setup. Much more time for practice (like it is supposed to be) How it is supposed to work? Cos atm it is just randomly moving values WISHING for the driver to be happy, and it is also a gamble on increasing and lowering them, since it doesn't explain in which direction we are going.Īny of u have any tips related to this? Something to understand how it works atm? (Even i think this is nothing related to an f1 manager game at this moment.) ![]() I mean, i have a green area which i think is the area i should make the setting goes tru (since there is no infos anywhere about how it works) and a driver which gives just a sad or happy face, without saying for example "hey, i have too much oversteering" or "my car is too slow" or whatever", basically i'm just jumping out car from box, and right after asking to come back to see the situation, no real info on lap time, cos there is no TIME at all to do that (and i'm playing on long race setting -.-) so short which make them basically pointless Can someone explain the sense of practices if they areġ. ![]()
